Great day of Classes w/ Joey Otlo from American Crafts/ Bazzill Basics

June 20, 2015: Come join us for a fun-filled day of classes with Joey Otlo from American Crafts as she teaches us to use the new Fuse tool from We R Memory Keepers.  Add photo waterfalls to the outside of your page protectors, create three page layout beginning at 10am and then create a fun summer mini album at 2pm.  This will be a day of fun, prizes and learning.  Call to reserve your seat as these classes are filling up.  You can see photos of the layouts and mini book in the store or on our facebook page.

THIS Album Uses WAX (HOT WAX) on the cover. - This is SO FUN!
Create a 5x7 mini album - Dissect, cut and reassemble and decorate this mini album and when it is back together we WAX IT.

YOU MUST BRING - “Stuff” that means something or is sentimental to you. Old keys, chains, trinkets, Film strip - negative, buttons, buckles, charms or coins. We will “WAX” these items into the cover and to become a permanent part of your album forever. We will have supplies to make it awesome - you need to bring personal items to decorate it and make it “Yours”.

This is a Technique savvy Class great for a Scrapper and Card maker alike and fun for both the advanced or beginner. Build a pocketed accordion album from Scratch. Then make 9 tags to tell your story. I teach some of the famous techniques such as “Smash and glue” or the “Fold glue and smash”. OK, I have made these names up but they are great techniques for making an album or a card. With the Tags you will learn new ways to use tags (tags on a tags) pockets and a slide though. We use Burlap, staples, brads, charms, sticks, chipboard, beads and ribbons, yarn and string. See pIcs in Rustic Journey Gallery,

Needed, Sense of humor, Stapler, Hole Punch, wet adhesive or glue stick (and A LOT of it) - I also recommend red tape or Score tape and Brown or black ink. I like to use a craft knife and a mat but you can get away with scissors.

Croppin' Bug is relocating

News Flash: Croppin' Bug is relocating in early March. We will be moving to a larger space in LaMarque @ Gulfway Plaza on Delaney Road. We are very excited and will keep you up to date as our "official" move in date gets near. Until then::: Come shop with us during our Shop Hop which begins on Friday.
